The bar chart shows the percentage of households with cars in a European country between 1971 and 2001. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given bar chart provides information about percent of European people with cars from 1971 to 2001. Overall, It can be seen that, People having atleast one car had gradually increased. Similarly, households with more than 2 cars also increased. To begin with, In 1971 around 50% of households not have atleast 1 car. Usage of car gradually increasing year on year hence household with no cars has continously declining 5% per year. In the year 1991 is at 35% and in 2001 it is at it's lowest at 30%. At the start of the period in 1971 households having atleast 1 car and more than 2 cars is at 35% and 25% resectively. People in Europe showed more intrest in buying cars, which increased number of households with cars in 1981 and 1991 households having atleast one car is at 40% and 35% respectively. In 2001 It is at it's highest at 50%.
