The bar chart shows the level of education of Bulgarians that have the intentions to depart from the country in 2002, 2006 and 2008. Overall, the majority of the residents have finished secondary school. This category was noticed as the tallest bar in every year. On the other hand, the number of people who reached higher qualifications fluctuated between years. According to the chart, the percentage of dwellers that completed junior high school experienced a slight decrease from 2-4%. By contrast, the statistics of primary and lower education rose annually. Within a time of four years, it improved only a tiny amount of 1%. After two years, it dramatically increased to 13% which is nearly double the previous period's percentage. Mostly being the lowest bars of the chart, the higher academic degrees didn't encounter any considerable changes but the sudden fall to 11% in 2008. In summary, it could be seen that more people were having chances to observe basic knowledge, whereas the situation of upper-level education was dropping.
