Overall, agriculture experienced a downward trend, while services showed an upward trend throughout the period. Although services sector had a lower rate, it outraced agriculture at the end of the period. Despite the fact that at the beginning industry sector was the lowest one, eventually it came to the second place. Agriculture sector was just above 60% in 1960, being higher than others by approximately 48%. Then, it fell to slightly under fifty percent in 1970. Furthermore, the figure showed a gradual decrease to about 45% in 1980, and continued to decline steadily to the end of the period, reaching around 30% in 1990 and hitting the low-point of just under 15% in 2000. Percentage of contribution in service sector was nearly 15% in 1960 being estimated 3 times less than the units of agriculture. During the next 5 years the figure experienced a steady growth. It rose to approximately 30% in 1980 then increased by around twice the measure of previous year in 1990 and so outraced agriculture sector, then hitting the high point of slightly above 60% in 2000. Regarding to industry sector, it reveals gradual rise from the lowest point estimated by 15% to almost 25% between 1960 and 1980, then remained steady for the next 2 years.
