Overall, finance was the most popular area of qualification among both sexes in 2010 whereas the opposite was true for engineering. In addition, the largest disparity was in the figure for males and females enrolling in Mathematics. As can be seem from the chart, similar number of male and female students studied finance with approximately 230 students on each gender. The quantity of females and males who chose accounting as their major was relatively lower with exactly 200 females and roughly 180 males. Similarity, the figure for female students pursued marketing with around 130 students, which was substantially higher than males in the same major (merely about 80 students). Looking at the bar chart in more details, 200 male students took part in mathematics in comparison with females choosing this discipline, approximately 60 students. The number of male economics students was 150 students, almost twice as much as female economics students.
