The chart illustrates the amount of houses that are built annually in 2 major cities of England (Derby and Nottingham) from the year 2000 to 2009. Or the above bar chart displays the comparison of the houses built in 2 major cities of England (derby and Nottingham) from the years 2000 to 2009. Overall, we can observe there is significant increase of new houses or homes in both the cities. Although, the increasing pattern has experienced serious fluctuations for the city of Nottingham comparatively, as per the data given derby is prone to steady increasing pattern. In the first year, Derby had constructed slightly lower number of houses(approximately 45) compared to the city of Nottingham which constructed exactly 50 houses. The year 2002 clearly reflects an opposite trend to the previous year. Derby has significantly increased by building twice the amount of houses (approximately 95) and Nottingham experienced a decline by accounting only 25 houses respectively. From the year 2003 to 2007, there was steady increase in houses around 120 houses built every year in derby whereas Nottingham appears to fluctuate but resulted favourably as it dramatically rose to180 new houses in the year 2007. On the other hand, the year 2008 surprised us as Nottingham just constructed approximately 10 new houses and derby outperformed by establishing around 260 houses. Finally in the year 2009, Derby recorded the highest number by houses built slightly lower than 350 houses and comparatively Nottingham recorded by just constructing 250 new houses respectively.
