While finance’s rate increased and is predicted to become even higher, an opposite tendency is observed for manufacturing, whereas the other three are characterized by rate fluctuations. Between 2009 and 2019, finance’s percentage increased from slightly above 30% to around 36% respectively, while manufacturing’s rate dropped from almost 20% to about 16%. Meanwhile, the rate of the food processing industry almost doubled between 2009 and 2019, from about 11% to around 21%.
