This comparison is shown with the data of average year of schooling, scientists and technicians per 1000 people and spending on research and development in 1980 and 1990. It is well clear from the graph, that the figures of developed is much higher than that of the developing countries. Firstly, coming to the average year of schooling, people attended school around 3 years in developing country whereas in industrialized area around 9 years in the year 1980. Not much vast difference could been in the year of 1990 in developing nations on the contrary, a recommendable increase can been seen. People in developed nation attended school for around 11 years. Secondly, a noticeable change can been on the graph of scientists and technicians per 1000 people between the years in 1980 and 1990 in industrialized area. A tremendous increase from 40 per 1000 people to 70 per 1000 people ought to bee seen, however the condition in developing countries remains same. No higher difference can been seen within this two years. Considering the expenditure on research and development in both the types of countries, about $150 billions where spent in the year of 1980 and the rapid increase has been seen in the year 1990 was about $350 billion in developed nations. On other hand in developing nation the expenditure on research was fallen down from $50 billion to $25 billion.
