Task 1: Write 150 words. Internet users as percentage of population

The line graph compares data on the percentage of population used internet in the USA, Canada & Mexico, over a 10-year-period, starting from 1999. Overall, it is evident that, the proportion of population who used internet in the USA & Canada rose significantly inmerely 10 years, while in Mexico it was quite different. In the year 1999, internet users as proportion of population in the USA was near about 20%, which was the highest of that time and in Canada & Mexico, the percentage were approximately 10% & 5% respectively. In 2005, the proportion of internet users were about 25% & 70% in Mexico, Canada & USA respectively. In 2009, it increased nearly 100% in Canada, which was the highest and about 70% in the USA, while in Mexico it was less than 50%. To conclude, it can be said that usage of internet in the USA & Canada experienced a rapid rise, while Mexico fall behind.
