The initial impression is that the average money spent on food had decreased significantly from 71. 9 to 21. 8 percent. However, the spent money on recreation and other items had considerably increased from 7. 7 to 34. 2 percent. It can clearly be seen that people tend to spend less money in 2000 than 1920 on food. although citizens in 1920 were allocating less budget on recreation, they spent much more in 2000. Also costs on their leisure time such as traveling and communication had obvious growth from 3. 3 to 14. 3 percent. As the percentage of use of fuel and light and house goods in 2000 was remained the same as in 1920, it had slight decline about 0. 3 and 0. 1 percent. They had focused on medical care had increased over 80 years and reached 3. 9 from 1. 9 percent. Not only was housing and clothing increased, but also they had paid considerable attention on education as well in 2000 rather than 1920.
