According to the charts, between the years 1990 and 2005, some type of rubbish increased while others decreased.
In 1990, the highest rate of waste was paper, at 53%. However, by 2005 it had dropped at 40% which is the biggest change mong the five categories. Glass was the second highest level and "others" was the third. Fifteen years later, the amount of glass increased slightly, and reached at 19% while "others" went up to slightly, and reached at 16%. The level of metals showed small change and it decreased 2%. The percentage of prastics had doubled between the years 1990 and 2005. And the amount of this became the second largest waste from American homes at 20%.
