This was three times the rate at the beginning of the year compared to urban areas rate which was about 2. 2 percents. However, the unemployment rate raised up to 5. 5 percents during the third quarter and finished at a 0. 5 percent lower at the end of the last quarter. In sharp contrast to this, urban areas unemployment almost doubled from around 2. 2 percents in the first quarter to 4 percents in the second. The rate fluctuated in the second half of the year 2012. Unemployment rate in the third quarter returned to the first quarter’s figure and grew to just under 5 percent at the end of the year while dropping from 4 percents to 3. 5 percents in the middle of quarter four.
