The following two bar charts illustrate the distribution of expenditure of Dubai and London young adults between 2016 and 2017. Overall, it can be seen that Dubai teenagers spent the most in clothes, while London adolescents used their maximum money on electronics, followed by beauty. In terms of clothes, half of the total expenditure was used by Dubai, which is the highest among the categories; meanwhile, London people only spent 10% on that. On the other hand, the largest expenditure in London was electronics, accounting for 50%. However, Dubai’s young population only used 10% to consume the technology gadgets. Regarding alcohol and food, both countries contributed an equal amount of 10% spending on these categories. Young adults in London focused more on beauty than Dubai teenagers, made up 20% on beauty expenditure, which was a double percentage of Dubai’s. With respect to magazines, adolescents in Dubai buying magazines with 10% of their money, while no London teenagers spent on this category.
