Needless to say, in the existing day and age one has to be a multi-talent to survive- the engender for cut-throat competitions. the pupils opt for diverse subjects -either voluntary or involuntary to cope up with the progressing society. However, one is struck in dilemma of what subjects to learn- opinions are differentiated as if History is one of the most crucial subject or science and technology. This essay explicates both of the viewpoints to comprehend what subject is fundamental. Firstly, it is worth mentioning that in existing circumstances only one subject as a major cannot develop a student's intellectual mind as actively as it is expected. It is a requisite for one to grasp as much as one can from plethora of lessons to progress with advancements. Few people opine by the idea that history is one of the most significant subjects and there is no denying about that. History educates the students to learns from mistakes. The mammoth of wars, treaties, diverse cultures, colonies, royalties, empires, and such are not taught just to glorify the past, however, to inform the students and make them realize of what needs to be done in the future considering what was not done in the past. Just like the world wars between 1929-1945 are taught for pupils to comprehend what could have been done and what was done, and the consequences. Likewise, subjects like science and technology are boon for the children to understand and examine the ongoing advancements. It is extremely fundamental for students to learn these subjects for these lay the base for futuristic progresses. To be well versed in these subjects is highly significant in the present day and age as its importance has multiplied immensely. Aggregating, it would be of best choice if the students themselves are given the baton to choose what they really feel is best for them as no one can know better about them than they themselves. Learning is an art which is not only taught in educational institutions, rather what practicality of life brings to table is pivotal.
