Rich countries often give money to poorer countries to show their kindness to poor nations, but it will never eradicate the poverty. If giving money had been a solution, there would have been fewer nations which are poor. I partially agree, rich countries should give contribute to poor country’s development in other ways than gifting money. Because of following two reasons. Wealth is like ice. If we transfer ice between many hands at last, we will end up with water alone. For instance, let us take Pakistan. Every year, USA grants money for the development of that country. Still people suffer from severe unemployment high inflation rates. Why? Because government didn’t create jobs, instead used it for various purposes. What will happen if the money dries up? People will still be jobless and the economic situation will never improve. Instead, if USA encourages its companies to invest in the poorer countries, people will be employed they buy products and economic cycle kicks into place. Money invested in education will bring innovations and job opportunities in various sectors. For example, let us consider countries use the money gifted by developed countries on their research and development in universities rather than military equipment. They will see an immensely fruitful rise in their economy as more the innovations, more the employment, more the manufacturing resulting in handsome salaries, letting them buy products at higher prices. Such use of money would be extremely useful and yes, sometimes money will help the economy boost. Not only in education, if the countries invest in their tourism development. They can attract foreign travelers, gain more revenue. It has the potential to become a factor in boosting countries’ Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Giving money to underdeveloped nations, they splurging it will lead to disastrous outcomes. If that’s the case, they can never come out of their poverty. Instead, if Rich countries encourage its companies to invest directly or indirectly by giving money or several incentives, will be beneficial for both the nations.
