The graph shows the perecentage of students’ responses to the question of how do they know about student prostitution. Looking at the pie chart, it is clear that the Internet represents the largest portion of ways that students can use to learn about prostitution. Half of the participants said that they know about student prostitution through the Internet. By contrast, very few students knew about this problem through books: just 1, 8% - a very modest number. In addition, a few students said that they were aware of this social evil through newspapers and television, with the percentage of 5, 4% and 3, 6% respectively. From these results, it appears that the amount of information about student prostitution that were printed in books, newspapers or shown on television is still not much compared to what has been posted on the Internet. These results also suggest that the government and the authorities should promote propaganda student sex work for students of all ages through books and newspapers so that all Vietnamese youth will have a clearer view of this social evil and its harmful effects.
