The diagram illustrates manufacturing of ethanol from corn. It is mainly consist of nine operations ranginging from getting corn to transporting final product at desired destination. Firstly, Corn was taken from the farm or many other resources. Afterwards, it is stored in particular area for some period of time. From storing area it is went for the milling process. Furthermore, it is went for the cooking process, During this stage, water is added into corn which came from miling. It took around 4 hours for cooking to get the desired output. Moreover, the desired output from the cooking process is went under fermentation process. It is one of the crucial process in production of ethanol. In addition, it is one of the longest operation and took around 48 hours. After that it is forwareded to separation operation where liquid and solid product get separated. desired product from separaton operation moved to the purifying section where ethanol is purified and it took around 5 hours to complete process. Lastly, ethanol fuel from purifying section transferred to the stoarge area, Afterwards, according to requirements it is transported to desired destinations.
