The maps show current form and proposed expansion of the southwest airport. Overall, it is clear that plan is to increase the number of gates by expanding the area to the north side. Furthermore, there will be more additions inside the airport, so that there will be more facilities to provide services for passengers. Currently, there is a specific entrance to the departure and in that hall the check-in counter is situated to the in left side. Then there is a café opposite to it. Then there is a security passport control in the north side. To the east there is space for Passport control customs. After that, Gate 1 to gate 8 can be seen. Passengers can use a walkway to reach appropriate gate. According to the proposal, Bag drop will replace by the check-in counter and Check-in counter will move to east side of the same room. Café will arrange more closer to the departure area entrance and number of departure and arrival entrance will be increased. A café, ATM and Car hire facilities will be added to the arrival area. Then new shops will utilize the free space that was available between gates and security passport control areas. Number of gates will be increase up to 18 gates. The most significant development is the gate area extension which will have Y shape building to the northside.
