The given bar chart and table show us the time spent in leisure and household activities among men and women in the UK. As we can see, women spent more time on house chores whereas men dedicate slightly more time to leisure activities. Tv, video, and radio were the main hobby among Britain people. men spent 137 minutes per day which is 19 minutes more than women. The second popular activity for enjoying time was reading which men and women spent virtually the same time at it. The last leisure activity at this table is sport. Men only dedicated a quarter of an hour to exercising per day however women spent less time in it and only exercised for 11 minutes each day. Cooking and washing were the main household activities. Despite females spent 77 minutes per day at these things, men only dedicated two-fifth of this time. On average, women spent 36 minutes shopping whereas men spent only 23 minutes. Clothes washing and ironing were like cooking and women spent more time than men. However, men spent two times as much women in repairing. Overall, the time which spent in leisure activity was very close in males and females but women dedicated too many times than men in household keeping.
