The double line graph demonstrates information about visits abroad by UK residents and visits to the UK by overseas residents from 1979 to 1999, while the bar graph presents the most popular countries visited by the UK residents in 1999. To begin with, from the double line graph, it can be clearly seen that the visits abroad by the UK residents are higher than the visits in the UK by the overseas residents. The visits abroad by the UK residents was approximately 13 million in the year 1979 which increased at a diminishing rate till 20 million in the year 1985 and then rise at an increasing rate which goes up to 53 million, whereas, the visits to the UK by overseas residents is around 9 million in 1979 which goes up to 29 million in 1999. The bar graph shows the most visited countries by the UK residents in 1999, France is the most popular among Spain, USA, Greece, and Turkey and is visited by approximately 11 million UK visitors. On the other hand, Turkey is the least popular and is visited only by 2. 5 million UK visitors.
