Life cycle of Frogs from birth to maturity

Life cycle of Frogs from birth to maturity 3L07l
The diagram depicts the life cycle of frogs, from birth to maturity. It is clear that a frog undergoes various stages in its life cycle from the stage of eggs to the stage of adult frog. The life cycle of a frog takes place in a pond. Firstly, the life cycle of frog begins with the laying of eggs by an adult frog. Secondly, an embryo is formed by the fusion of the egg and male gamete. The embryo eventually develops into a tadpole which cling to the water plants. Then the tadpole develops external gills which help in breathing and the tail keeps on growing. In the next stage, the hindlegs appear and the tadpole survives from the food stored in the tail. Following the development of hindlegs, front legs appear and gradually the tail becomes shorter. At this stage in the life cycle, the tadpole is called young frog. Finally the young frog develops into an adult frog and the life cycle continues again.
