The map shows the changes taken place in Meadowside village and the neighbouring town of Fonton since 1962. In 1962, both Meadowside village and Fonton were two separate places. A railway was running in Fonton from the East to the North. In Meadowside village, however, a small road ran from the West to the North. The developments started and by 1985, the small road in Meadowside village had been converted to a main road. There was also a road built between Meadowside village and Fonton in order to connect these two places. Apart from these, Meadowside village has gone through considerable improvements like the establishment of a housing estate, a leisure complex and a superstore. Now, Meadowside village is known as Meadowside Suburbs and is connected to Fonton. A railway has also been manufactured in Fonton to connect with Meadowside. Between Meadowside Suburbs and Fonton, the railway meets a station, with a hotel in the North and a business park in the South.
