The plans illustrate how a science park has changed since 2008. Taken as a whole, it is clear that the science park has undergone a number of major alterations over the period. The most striking change has taken place in the northern part of the area, where a building for research and development has been constructed on the grassland, though it is noticeable that the area covered by trees, the offices and the business units nearby have remained the same. Meanwhile, the car park located in the center of the maps has shrunk, with its area almost halving in size. Another noticeable alteration worth mentioning has been to the transport arrangements. The cycle paths have been built along the roads; a new station for railway has been added in the south; a bus station east of the park has been introduced. In addition, the cyber security block located in the southeast of the park has been expanded, doubling in size. Two buildings have been given different names: the reception block is now called the university hub and the IT center has been renamed the Innovation centre.
