The above diagram explains the process of making wood pellets. Wood pellets are a form of fuel used to heat up buildings and can be used in pellet stoves and furnaces. Wood pellets are made from sawdust. To make wood pellets, you have to first, gather sawdust from a sawmill. This sawdust is then hammered into fibers of uniform lengths in a hammer mill. After hammering, the fibers are dampened using steam and forced through holes in a pellet machine thereby, forming hot pellets which is then allowed to cool off.
