The following report derives from a bar chart which illustrates the ratio of male and female students studying the different art-related subjects at a university in the UK since 2011. The general perspective reveals that the Division of females is more interested in studying the subjects like Linguistics, Philosophy, English, History and communication than males. Males showed interest in studying Art and design more than females. Looking at the details, First, looking at the Linguistics 240 female students were studying this subject which is more than 60 males. Secondly, In the case of philosophy, there were 150 females studying this subject which is approximately 100 counts more than the males. Then, 240 males and 250 females showed more or less the same interest in English literature subject. Another perspective finds that there were 30 females more than the males studying history with a total count of 120. On top of that here 30 males were more interested in studying art and design than the females. On a final note of comparison, both gender students showed similar interest to study communication and media with a total count of 200 and 220. In a conclusion, females have shown a lot more interest than males to study each given subject except for art and design. On the account of Linguistics, English literature and communication male and female students have shown more or less the same interest.
