The graph provided here, gives the information about the demand of electricity in England during the winter and the summer season. Along with the graph, a pie chart is also given to summarise how electricity is utilised by households. According to the graph, consumption of electricity in the winter is way greater than that of consumption in the summer. On average, more than 30, 000 units of electricity is used during the winter. On other hand, this figure drops below 20, 000 units per day in the summer. There is a drastic increase in demand for electricity between 9 PM to 10 PM during the winter days. The consumption hits 45, 000 units during this time. However, in the summer nearly 20, 000 units are utilised during the same period of time. In the pie chart, the utilisation of electricity in households is classified in four categories. As per the information given, the largest proportion of the total consumption of electricity is devoted to heating rooms and water. 52. 5% of total units of electricity are utilised for this activity. On the other hand, 17. 5% of electricity is used for Ovens, Kettles and Washing Machines. In the third category lightning, TV and radios are included. They use 15% of total electricity which is the same as the proportion of electricity consumed by vacuum cleaners, food mixtures and electrical tools. In conclusion household in England consume enormous amount of electricity during the winter season and the most of the electricity serve the purpose of hitting the water and rooms
