The maps illustrate modifications which were held in Denham in the period from 1986 till now. Overall, it is crystal clear from pictures that town had changed dramatically. What stands out from the maps is that in 1986 Denham was a farming town but it underwent a significant transformation to become a heavily residential area. From 1986 to the present moment there is a considerable growth in numbers of houses. I suppose, there is more than a two-fold increase. A cursory glance at the east side of map reveals that there was built a retirement house on a place where was a large house and gardens before. Unfortunately, some trees were cut down there. Another noticeable change is in the size of primary school. In 1986 it was not as large as now. Moreover, near this school was a farmland but now there is a plenty of houses around it. Not only farmland was replaced by residential area but also shops on the north-west of town. There is no place for buying some consumer goods on the modern map.
