Overall, it is clear that the ratio of annual GDP growth for Tunisia and Ecuador fell over time, while it increased for Japan. However, Japan experienced the highest rate of GDP growth in 2010. In 2007, the proportion of annual GDP growth stood at just over 6% and about 3% for Tunisia and Ecuador respectively. Over the following two years, the former decreased rapidly to 3% and remained the same till the end. But, the latter went up drastically by 2% from 3% to 5% in 2008 and went down to 1% before showing a steady increase in 2010. By contrast, Japan's GDP growth rate started with 2%, increased rapidly to 4% in 2008, and then experienced a constant rise to finish with about 6. 5%
