Describe the line graph below, using good range of vocubulary and grammar. pRrx9
The line graph illustrates the amount of chicken, beef, lamb, and fish eaten by one European country’s citizen every 7 days. It is clear that the consumption of chicken saw an increase, whilst all the remaining food were being ate less and less during twenty five years.
In 1979, just under 150 grams of chicken was used as meal per week, making it slightly less than beef(150 grams). Every person ate over 200 grams of beef every week in 1979, which was the most popular choice among others, however, despite some fluctuations, this trend witnessed a significant change, being replaced by chicken in 1989. The figure for chicken consumption increased considerably, reaching a peak level of the graph at 250 grams, in contrast the trend of eaten beef dropped at almost 100 grams, but still being higher compared to fish and lamb.
During the given timeframe, the usage of fish remained constant, starting at just over 50 grams, while the values of lamb saw some variations, but generally it was decreasing moderately, being slightly more than fish in 2004 at over and under 50 grams relatively.
