The line graph provides information about weekly earnings of full-time graduate employees classified by age and type of degree, in particular first degree, higher degree and others, in 2002. First of all, there was a considerable rise in the amount earned for all the different types of graduates, between the age group of 21-25 and the one of 36-40. Indeed, the trend related to others types of qualification jumped from a weekly salary of about 400 pounds to more than 800 pounds, reaching its peak since, as the employees are older, earnings for this group decreased steadily down to less than 700 pounds for the age class of 56-60. Similarly, the higher degree group experienced a considerable upward trend until the age group of 41-45, starting with less than 400 pounds and arriving to around 750 pounds. After this growth, there was a slight decline, but from the age of 51-55, the salary went up rapidly, reaching an amount of almost 800 pounds. Finally, first degree trend increased considerably as the others two, beginning with around 350 for the youngest class and ending with 700 pounds for the ones aged between 36-40, but then it remained stable on this amount for all the older age groups.
