As can be seen, the number of Internet users in all three witnessed a steep increase. Overall, there were much more Canadians and Americans make use of the Internet compared to the Mexicans, and Canada had the most dramatic rise in Internet usage.
In 1999, the ratio of people in the USA who used the Internet was about 20%, while at about 10% in Canada and 5% in Mexican. In 2005, Internet usage in both the USA and Canada increased significantly and reached at about 70% of the population, during the time the number in Mexico was only about 25%.
At the end of the decade, Canada had the largest number of Internet user. Nearly 100% of the Canadians, compared to about 80% Americans and just over 40% Mexicans.
