The two graphs are giving information about the number of sportsmen and their gender, who involved in the Olympics from its beginning. Overall it can be seen that from line chart the number of participants has been increased in each year, and from bar chart the women athletes are always fewer than male athletes. In both years of 1924 & 1952, the number of female participants was below 500 and the number of male participants was 3000, 4500 respectevely. But from 1984 onwards, the count of women athletes was gradually increased and reached a better position in 2012. In 1984, the total number of sportsmen was above 6000 and the female participants were 1500. In 2012, the percentage of women and men participants became almost same. And in that year the total number of participants rose to above 10000 and also women made a drastic hipe to nearly 5000 in the total count.
