The column chart compares the proportion of women and men with no qualifications in six age groups in the United Kingdom in 2009. Overall, in younger age groups, the lack of qualification between males was more than that of females. However, the trend was clearly different between the elderly, and women were more without any qualifications. Concerning the 17-19 and 20-24 age groups, the number of men without any qualifications was more compared with women with about 7% and 8% respectively for men and 6% and 7% for women. For males, the percentage of the qualifications lack has remained constant in 25-29 and 30-39 age groups. However, the figure for women with no qualification was as the same as men in medium age groups.
