While the hierarchy of the costs in each area have remained the same through the decade- with urban areas with the highest costs, followed by suburban and rural areas respectively- the trends in the graphs depict an excessive rise in the housing costs over the decade. Though prices in all three areas have risen significantly, the cost of housing in urban and suburban areas have skyrocketed far more than in the rural areas.
