The maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in the town of Felixstone between 1967 and 2001. Overall, a considerable development was made in the establishment of social and basic infrastructures. In 1967, located at the left side of the northern part of Felixstone is a golf course. Two lines of about five Shops each are found at the centre of the town which have in their middle High street road leading to the outskirts of the town when facing north. There is a large Farmland filled with greeneries at the right side of the northern part of the town. Coming to the south of the town, a portion of the land to the far left is covered in vegetation which has heaps of sand dunes very close to it's right. A Hotel, a Cafe, a Marina for boats and a Pier for support are found at the centre of the south of the town while the Fish market is located at the upper right side. Further down the south of the town is the sea which covers both the left and the right parts of Felixstone. After 34 years (in 2001), there were not much change in the left side of North. The Golf course remained same and the shop line was extended. However, the shops at the right side of High street road were not only extended but converted to apartments. A Swimming pool, a Hotel and Tennis courts are now situated at the right side replacing the farmland. At the southern part, the growth of vegetation at the far left had increased over time, and Wind turbines were mounted just close to the sea. The Dunes remained unchanged. A large Car park was constructed leaving a small area for the renovated Hotel in the space previously occupied by the Hotel. In place of the Marina and the Pier was a Public beach, while the whole expanse of the right side of the town in the south was developed into a Private beach with the Fish market out of place. The Cafe remained at the centre of the south part of Felixstone.
