causes and effects of acid rain
causes and effects of acid rain padNa
The diagram illustrates the flow of acid rain occurrs from human activities and how the rain effect the environment and food chain. Overall, there are four steps in the process: air pollution from artificial components’ emission, expansion of clouds, acid rainfall and contaminations’ involvements in ecosystem.
First of all, man-made facilities, such as houses, transportaion, manufactures and power generations, emit chemical substances, including carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and mercury, which consist contaminated clouds. Secondary, the polluted materials, which are sources of acid rain, gradually grow and spread out all over the world. At the next step, acid rain falls on various natural grounds, like forests, rivers, lakes, hills and fields. The acid rainfall is deeply absorbeded by the areas, which supply nutrients to plants. At the last prcess, greens are poisoned through the ground, and, in turn, a variety of species also gain the pollutants, which might suggests whole ecosystem seems to be gradually polluted by human activities.
