According to the picture above, we can see that there are significant changes on the library in this past 20 years. In this 9 x 10 meters library there are a plethora of genres that we can read or borrow. The first thing I realized is the location of genres. In 2000, we can see that there are numerous of people that interested in fiction. I conclude it based on the size of the shelf in fiction genre. In 20 years earlier, the library provide fiction books in 2 big size of shelfs. Hovewer in nowadays there is only 1 mid size of shelfs in that library. What is the most interesting for me is that they changed some genres with tables and chairs for people reading books. Nowadays, most of people has their own smartphone as replacement for books. In my point of view, the library aware of this thing and decided to change non – fiction area into cafétaria. I think people nowadays, tend to just sitting around in the library and searching for information they looking for. What is the most important thing for nowadays is to make the library as comfortable as possible.
