The above picture represents the plans of a park which was first opened in the year 1920. The former and the latter are the plans in 1920 and at present respectively. The name of the park is grange park. The former park had its entrance at Arnold avenue and Eldon street. Seats were provided next near rose garden. In addition there was a platform where musicians performed. Seating arrangements were made near to the stage. At the center of the park, there existed a fountain. Also there was a pond whose water is taken for watering. A glasshouse was located next to the entrance from eldon street. There are some changes in today’s plan of the park. The pond was replaced by children’s play area and a café next to it. On the contrary, there is a rose garden instead of fountain. People can be made comfortable with the seat provided. Similarly, there is an amphitheatre for concerts. Underground car parking is now available. There is a water feature next to children’s play area. But there are some similarities like the entrance remains the same and rose garden is also located next to entrance from Arnold revenue. These changes helps to increase the people’s attraction towards the park.
