The diagram shows suggested changes of Foster Road between SE 84th and 85th Avenue from being an insecure street for local residents to making it an attractive avenue that is safer for people. First of all, the scheduler proposes to install wider sidewalks and bicycle lanes meanwhile shrink the number of lanes for the cars. Also. there will be set up pedestrian crossing at the end of the street with a pedestrian island where will be safer for the dwellers to stop. And also the plan of the designer includes planting trees on both sides of the sidewalk to make the avenue look more lively and beautiful while ensuring the safety of residents. The trees will not only give a wonderful view but also refresh the air, which will be beneficial for the townspeople. Summing up, according to these proposed modifications, Foster Road will become a safer and more comfortable street for local residents.
