Dear Sean, We decided to refurbish some parts of our house and during the refurbishment the workers have to use electrical equipments. These equipments make really loud noise which I am sure is not music to ears. This unpleasant noise bothers all of my family members and as you complained it is causing problems to you as well. I would like to apologise for the noise pollution created by our house refurbishment plan because I should've given the notice in advance about our plans. In our defence, we didn't get enough time to think about informing our neighbours, especially you as your house is the closest to us. We have to get this done as soon as possible because of the upcoming winter holidays. To deal with this noise, me and my family members are currently using earplugs, so to help you with this we will buy your family the same earplugs tonight and give it you.
