Dear Mr. William, This well condiserred reply is in regards to your complain about noises coming from our house last Saturday. As you may have known, our beloved son, Jeremy, will pay us a visit after 3 year serving the NAVY abroad. Hoping that he would have a pleasant stay, I and my wife decided to upgrade his bedroom with a bigger bathroom. As a result, there has been some noise from the room which is next to your house. We try our best to schedule the renovation during business hours only (from 9AM to 5PM) so it would not affect anyone. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected delay, we had no choice but to install the bath tub on last Saturday which was the source of the loud noise. I would like to apologize for the noise and any inconveniece it may have caused. Although we have tried our best to reduce noise level with sound-proofing equipment, I wish the process did not you and your dear family, especially on the weekend. We genuinely did not expect the sound to be that loud and we are very sorry for that. Having received your letter on Saturday night, we immediately contacted our contractor to confirm that renovation will only be conducted during business hours. Thanks to the works on Saturday, the room will be finished on time by this Friday which is only 4 more days to go. In addition, as the bathroom is fully installed, there will be little to no noise for the next stage of the process. We would like to thank you for your understanding. We are very grateful to have such amazing neighbours like your family. I am sure Jeremy is excited to see everyone again after being away for such a long time. Sincerely Yours, Thien An Huynh
