I am writing to explain why there hsa been loud noise at my house for the past couple of days. Due to the recent storm our house roof has been damaged. As we tried to fix the damage, we learnt about the cracks within the house walls which required urgent attention. In order to fix the walls and roof there has been loud construction noise. Firstly, I would like to apologise for the loud noise as the wall needs to be taken down and a new wall has to be built. It would take one week for the damage to be fixed as per the contractor. We are very sorry about the noise problem you have been facing since the past few days. I understand the construction noise would be disturbing and hence i would request the contractor to try reduce the noise along with working only during the office hours and not to work during the weekends.
