Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to you regarding the environmental initiative advertisement published on your newspaper, The New York Times, last week 23rd of March. Hence, I would like to express my interest to join an Ocean Clean up drive within our area. I am an avid reader of your newspaper, as well as a passionate advocate of anything related to ocean environment. I was born and raised in the Bay Area, and the sea has been part of my individuality up until adulthood. As a resident of Bay Area, I was highly involved in the ocean clean up drive projects happening in our locality every year. In addition, my advocacy is to raise awareness in the ocean pollution and how to protect the marine ecosystem for the future generation. I would be able to help the project through organizing a photography exhibition that shows the adverse effect of waste materials in marine life. I am a professional photographer and diver as well. Through my skills, I can be able to gather photos that can get tremendous attention to the public to support the awareness if protecting the aquatic life. I can also suggest some major sponsors that can help us advertise our project as well as raise our monetary budget which I know is fervently needed.
