I am writing to inform you that the method used for rubbish collection in the area is not working effectively and this has caused discomfort for I and my neighbors. The foul smell oozing out from the heaps of refuse is unpleasant. The waste disposal truck used for refuse collection only functions during the weekdays while most of the residents are out the house for their daily duties hence, they are unable to dispose off the accumulated waste. We have about twenty houses in the area which are not been serviced by the disposal truck because they only function during the week. The accumulated waste of these twenty residents begins to decompose thereby generating a smell which is unpleasant. The smell poses a lot of health risks as they are composed of different chemical elements which contest with the oxygen in the atmosphere we inhale. I suggest that the disposal trucks for refuse collection extend their services to the weekends so everyone in the area can benefit immensely. Your’s faithfully,
