Dear Sir I am writing to request the council to change the decision to close the local community football ground. This ground has witnessed many generations of this community, however in the recent years due to poor maintenance by the local administration the number of the users has dropped significantly. The children of the local community mostly complain of the thorny bushes that are spread all over the ground, which makes it difficult for them to use the ground. i also vividly remember, not less than a decade ago a community trade fair used to be organised on the very ground, where farmers and craftsmen from the neighbourhood used to set up their stalls on the fourth Sunday of every month and almost the entire community would get together to be part of even. Those were the lush green days on this ground, when it was to use to its best. I kindly request the council to review its decision on the ground and take necessary action put the ground back in good shape. Once the ground is being revamped the local community is ready to organise a football tournament immediately after the work is completed, which i am sure would increase the members of users of the ground. The community also has plans to form a health club for the welfare of the people: for which the ground would be a prime requirement.
