Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my view about the upcoming plans to cease the operations of the entertainment and sports facilities currently being runned by your esteemed office.
Me and my family are frequent visitors of the said centre, where we spend most of our weekends. My kids enjoy the bowling room very much, whereas me and my wife enjoy sitting in the nearby cafe and look after them. This is also amazing place for spending time with the friends, with whom we usually meet in the pub on the third floor and compete in a pub quiz on Fridays.
I also take the responsibility to insist that this centre plays a significant role in the life of the whole town. This can be easily demonstrated by the numbers of people, young and elderly, visiting the swimming pool as well as tennis courts located on the other side of the building.
If the decision is taken to ultimately close down this centre, the habitants will have to travel long distance and spend extra efforts and time to access the similar centre in the neighbouring town. And yet I believe there will be those who will be unable to do this due to their work schedule and other commitments. My view is that this will eventually result in reduced happiness levels and increasing complaints.
I truly hope that the decision will be reconsidered and the subject centre will remain as the favourite place of citizens.
Yours faithfully,
