Dear Peter, I’m very happy to hear from you again! Like you say, there’s a lot to think about if we want to make Anna’s party unforgettable. First of all, what you say about booking the Majestic Hotel sounds good, but you know, that is one of the most expensive hotels in town, so are you sure you can afford it? As for the food, I’d recommend pasta, meat and, of course, a huge chocolate birthday cake! You suggest buying Anna a watch but, personally, I don’t think she’ll like this very much, since she already got a new watch for Christmas. Why don’t we get her a plane ticket to Los Angeles instead? She’s always saying she’d love to go there on holiday! And to make the party even more special, we could phone all her old friends from school an invite them to come around.
