Dear Linda, I am writing this letter to inform you about the ongoing issue I have been facing with my computer. For you information, I use a Dell computer with 250 GB RAM and it used to work just fine until recently when I started to notice that the computer has hanging problem. At first I thought the computer hangs due to disk space issue, but I had to rule out the possibility when I found that the problem persists even after clearing the disk space. Since, I am not a computer expert, I am not sure what is the root cause of the problem. I can only guess that the computer has been infected by a potential virus. In order to temporarily fix the issue, I have to reboot my system quite a lot of times during the day that leads to the wastage of time. Even after the restart, there is no guarantee that the system will work without a glitch. Major part of my work is done through my computer. For example, creating the daily data reports, reading and replying to emails, virtual team meetings etc. In fact, this issue has cost me delaying of my work, late replies to important emails and it badly affects my performance too. I would really like this issue to be addressed as soon as possible. I can think of two possible solutions to this. First and foremost, I request you to get me a replacement computer while I give it away to the IT desk team for resolving the issue. In case, the issue is permanent and can not be sorted, I further request you to initiate the process of alotting a new computer to me.
