Dear Sir/Madam I am Smith and the purpose of writing this letter is to let you know in detail about an unexpected event that happened after I had rented a car from your company. The car that I have rented is a black Explorer with the name plate number IA 3699 and has a sun roof. The place from where I have rented this car is Cedar Rapids, Iowa. it was rented on 9th June for a period of 10 days, i. e. till 18th June from the Avis Centre that is located near the airport. On 10th June I started my trip to Denver early in the morning at 5am and the journey was going good until I met an accident. A bird suddenly came down from the sky and it hit the car headlight. Due to the force, the headlight broke and also the bird was severely injured. The damage to the car is not severe. After the sudden strike, I pulled the car on the right shoulder to see the damage. Fortunately, as it was daytime the headlights were not needed and so I searched for the nearest garage and drove the car for repairing the damage.
