Dear George, I am writing this letter to request for permission to work from Berlin, the head office, for the next six months. The reason for this request is as my parents are currently situated in Berlin, where my mother is undergoing medical treatment. Working from Berlin will allow me to care for her while the rehabilitation procedure, which is expected to continue for next 4-6 months, is completed. I will carry on with my ongoing projects from the head office, with regular meetings with the team and clients will be carried out online. This is nowadays a common practice and one which is also being encouraged by our company to promote modern workplace setting. It will ensure that the communication is not broken and the projects proceed with the same flow. I would like to request, if you could inform the head office about my plan so a suitable arrangement can be made for accommodating me in the office. Also if they can proceed with the issuance of the security pass. This will ensure there are no delays when I arrive and can continue with the work.
