Dear Mr. Brannagan, Good Day! I am writing to you to extend my apologies for being absent from the Company’s Year-End celebration held at Esplanade last Friday. As much as I want to attend the event last week, I was not able to because of a family birthday celebration happed at the same time. My grandmother celebrated her 90th birthday and the family decided to organize a big party to celebrate her milestone. My presence was required because I was the point-of-contact of all the suppliers, hence, I had to be at the venue early to organize the party. Moreover, I needed to be there as my grandmother is already frail and we want the whole family to be complete and memorable for her as much as possible. To make up for my absence this year, I will help organize the even next year and I will also participate in the company performance show.
